The Bridal Lounge
The Bridal Lounge, a relaxed and welcoming wedding dress shop first opened by Charlotte at the beginning of 2013. February 2016 saw us relocate, expanding into our new shop on Hadleigh High Street (Suffolk), which is situated in a grade II* listed building with some beautiful features - adding to the charm and atmosphere of the shop.
We aim to provide our customers with an enjoyable experience, from the moment you enter our shop, to helping you find the perfect wedding dress, to look and feel fabulous in.
Each year we whisk off to Barcelona, Madrid and London in search of amazing wedding dresses. Our designers include Stella York, Rosa Clara, Justin Alexander and Eddy K.
We hold trunk shows and designer days each year so you can see and buy even more of each designers new collection.
Your Appointment
Choosing your wedding dress is an important decision - it represents the essence of your wedding day, expressing who you are; your style and personality. Wedding dresses start from £899 - £19999. £20 booking fee for appointments, redeemable against your dress purchase.
Set aside 60 minutes for your consultation, and think about what you are happy spending on your dress prior to your appointment...having your venue and date set can help with choosing your dress.
If your wedding is fast approaching, please check the sale page to see what dresses are available immediately. These dresses usually start from just £499.
If you remember to bring a strapless bra and a pair of heels similar to what you would wear on your wedding day, that would be useful, but not essential. Please note, there is a limit of 2 additional guests at your appointment, no children.
After you have picked 'The One'
Once you've chosen your perfect dress, your measurements will be taken and your dress will be ordered.
When your dress arrives you will be invited back to try it on. We suggest ordering your dress 9- 18 months prior to your wedding. Most dresses need little tweeks - as we all have different body shapes, to make your dress fit perfectly. Alteration costs are additional, we can give you a guide to these costs and details of the seamstress , who works on site.
Payment:
A 50% deposit is required when placing your order, and the balance due when your dress arrives (approximately 4 months before your wedding),
OR you can pay monthly, at no extra cost (minimum 25% deposit required).
If purchasing a sample gown, please note - these need to be paid for in full, at the time of purchase, and we do not offer storage on gowns.
